# FXRender

> GPU render farm for Blender. Upload a .blend, render on current-generation NVIDIA GPUs, and download stills or a movie — billed by the GPU-second, one of the most economical ways to render Cycles at scale. No seats, no idle machines.

FXRender lets artists and studios render Blender scenes on cloud GPUs without running a render farm of their own. Supported Blender versions are 4.2 LTS, 4.5 LTS, 5.0, and 5.3 Alpha. Frames render on RTX 4090 GPUs (Cycles or Eevee) and land as PNG, JPEG, TIFF, WebP, or EXR; once every still is in, encoding a movie from the sequence is free. New accounts get 15 minutes of render time to try it. After that, billing is per GPU-second actually used — never per seat, never for idle hardware.

## CLI and MCP

FXRender is a Blender farm with MCP support. The open-source client is at https://github.com/technoblobs/fxrender-client. `fxr` uploads a .blend, renders it, and downloads frames. `fxr mcp` is a local stdio MCP server (not a hosted site) with tools whoami, estimate, render_file, job_status, job_logs, download_job, cancel_job, make_movie, list_jobs, and list_assets. Supported Blender versions on the CLI are 4.2, 4.5, 5.0, and 5.3 Alpha. On a desktop the API token stays in the OS keyring. On a server, set FXRENDER_TOKEN. Videos: https://www.youtube.com/@fxrender
